- 450 gm Whole beef tongue
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1/4 tsp White soya sauce
- 1 tsp M.S.G. (optional)
Naam Chim Sauce
- 1 tblsp Ground dried red chilies
- 1 tblsp Uncooked rice, roasted and ground to a fine powder
- 1/2 tblsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Sliced shallots
- 2 tblsp Fish sauce
- 1/2 tsp Spring onions, chopped
- 1/8 tsp Sugar

Mix all the Naam Chim Sauce ingredients together.
Mix/coat the beef tongue with the salt, sugar, white soya sauce and M.S.G.(if used). Leave to marinate for at least one hour.
Broil the beef tongue in a medium hot over for 20 minutes until cooked. Slice and serve with the Naam Chim Sauce. |
